+ Beyonce + Mrs Carter World Tour +

Double take on the tights, this time worn to Beyoncé’s Mrs Carter world tour. A birthday treat spent again with my best buddy Tia. I must say Beyoncé is a force to be wreaked with. She started on time – very professional, her voice played centre stage – because I didn’t pay to hear the band overshadow her voice, she had great graphics – to distract us whilst she changed, she sparkled with costumes, drew us in with her moves and dominated with her voice. Although I had always admired her, I had this perception that she was a bitchy centre of attention diva and after seeing the show I felt a huge sense of respect for her. She may be a bitch, who knows, but seeing how hard she works during her concert, the line ‘A diva is a female version of a hustler’ rings true. Like Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, Beyoncé is surely the Queen, if you have a chance to see this woman, DO!

+ Rihanna + Diamonds Tour +

As a birthday gift to my best friend Tia, I had brought tickets to Rihanna's Diamonds world tour. Although her birthday was over a month ago and I purchased the tickets back in june, the wait was well worth it. What amazed me was even though me and my friend were on island time, we still managed to get a good spot being 5/6 meters away from the stage. Close enough to actually see her face without having to rely on the jumbo screens to see her and we were just amazed at how beautiful Rihanna is in real life. I mean lets face it, half the people we see on magazines are powder coated in make up and photo shopped to hell, so when me and Tia saw her we were in ore. Knowing that we would rock the joint in a hot sweaty mess, we made sure to take photos before heading out and this is what we wore. Tia's orange top and mine are both Poncho tops made by me (the most easiest thing anyone can make- take a piece of material, cut a circle in the middle, fold in half, sew 3/4 up the side, bam, Poncho top!) My top was 2/3rd's sheer exposing the fun bags in a lacy red bra with the bottom panel in solid material to hide my belly and the possibility of ass crack (due to the fact my tights were not actually that tight!).
All in all great night out and even more so when your with your best friend,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA!

Denim Shirt It

Since my first purchase of ASOS Cruve back in December, I've got to admit my closet is slowly morphing into the Outlet section of the website. Dont get me wrong, I'm still avid thrifter but its nice to know that slowly (very, very, slowly) that there are more options available out there for the plus size peps.
If you're fat and reading this, you will know personally that we don't even have half as much options available to us than what straight size people have, yet fat people are fucking every where! Its almost to the point that once you pass size 18, that fashion just seems to come to a halt and you should just give up. Its what most of us struggle with, the limits set by chain retailers that determine what we should look like.
Fact is, what ever size you maybe, we all have the right to dress in a manner that reflects how you want to express your self. If most retailers don't want to wake up to that fact then, fuck you, I'll take my money else where and y'all can kiss my fat ass!
