White + Winter + Blue

For some reason I have been drawn to wearing white a lot this winter. It feels fresh, bright and is such a crisp contrast against any dark colour. The Skirt was thrift, bargain at $5.00 and my necklace and trench was purchased at half price sales. The most recent of purchases was the trench i had been eye balling at City Chic. It was a minimalist take on the classic trench in a deep Navy Blue. The material was soft for a more relaxed fit, suitable for both casual and formal wear. This was the story i was building in my head as i tried it on but the price tag was hella big and the story had to end there. But in passing the store many weeks later, the bright red SALE sign was the honey to my bee. There the jacket was- in my size- in my colour and on my favorite rack of 50% off.
As hard as it can be to find the fat fashion tri-factor of cute, in your size and affordable clothes, being patient with your large ticket purchases can really be beneficial to your wallet at the end of the day. I love fashion but fashion don't be paying my bills!

Asian Grocer

Hitting the aisles of the local grocer, wearing one of my most recent Flee Market purchases, my low-low top.
Low at the front and even lower at the back and so comfy to wear, especially when grocery shopping.
This top was $20, so i brought a second version without print in a lovely Olive Green.
Also making a reappearance was my Roman sandals i had found whilst hauling out the crap from our garage.
Would have been nice to find a pot of gold or a diamond ring, but I'll take some old leather shoes, something is better than nothing.
